Kylie & Paul

July 9, 2010 at Cedarhurst Mansion in Cottage Grove

As a photographer, Paul Bangasser has seen his fair share of weddings. (You may recognized this engagement session or this wedding he photographed.) But his wedding with Kylie Dirks was all their own. After proposing in a Delta 747-400 flight simulator—fitting, as Kylie's father is a pilot, fueling her love of planes—the pair planned a summer celebration at Cedarhurst Mansion. Their good friend, pastor and mentor Jon Klinepeter officiated the service, during which Kylie and Paul exchanged their own vows. After a dinner, dance and sparkler tunnel farewell, the party continued the next day, at Kylie's parents' house on Lake Minnewashta. Friends and family competed in water-volleyball matches, chatted around a bonfire and watched two very brave newlyweds wakeboard in their suit and gown. Watch their big day(s), as recorded by Capture Studios, unfold in the video below.
